Our Story

After an 18-year career in professional football and now head of strength and conditioning at a pro football club founder Jake Hyde wanted to give people more than another gym. He built The Lock Up to bring world-class coaching, team spirit and a fresh mindset to everyday training.

WHAT THEY SAY…

  • I joined The Lock Up Gym in August and absolutely love everything about it! I’ve already upgraded my membership from 2 sessions a week to 3 because the classes are that good.

    LAURA

  • Easily one of the best S&C based gyms I go to, all the necessary equipment plus brilliant coaches who will put you through your paces, they will also improve you physically and mentally to a next level. Highly, highly recommend going, especially if you can have a session with Jake Hyde, comfortably one of the best out there.

    GEORGE

  • The gym is perfect and has really welcoming feel about it. If you’re looking for an encouraging environment with great instructors and the best equipment then this is absolutely the place to go.
